•Hakim was swamped with a lot of works in his office.•He begins to feel anxious and overwhelmed by the amount of work in office.

•Hakim is unable to concentrate enough to make a useful list of tasks for that day.•During the afternoon, Hakim ploughs through his priorities with little nurture from his manager.•He works into the evening to get things finished and had cancelled the trip to the gym.

• When he reached home, Hakim has been unable to spend time with his children as they have gone to bed.

• Hakim also too tired to have a proper communication with his wife.

• He has an ongoing muscular pain, as well as headaches and constant tiredness.

• Hakim experiences an underlying feeling of anxiety and being unable to cope.

• Although Hakim is diligent man, but many perceptions of his working life are leading to physical and psychological problem.

This factor related to the pressures placed on a person for a particular role he or she is playing.Stress come from role conflict: that is the inconsistent expectations from other people towards a person’s role which are hard to fulfill.As a staff he have to prepare for meeting, print out documents and numerous actions to add to his ‘to do list’
