11. Teaching-learning and assessment strategy

Teaching-learning strategy:1. Lecture – input 2. Tutorial activities – group work, discussions, presentations, online tasks3. Formative assessment – oral and written quizzes

Assessment strategy:1. Continuous assessment is carried out to ensure the students have attained and

achieved the expected level of the prescribed course learning outcomes. The set coursework will contribute 50% to the final grade for the course.

2. Summative assessment consists of a written examination consisting of short-response and essay questions to assess student performance. The examination questions will be set by the course lecturer and the examination will be held at a scheduled time. The examination will also contribute 50% to the final grade for the course.

12. Synopsis This course focuses on the principles of teaching listening and speaking skills, developing listening and speaking, selection and adaptation of materials and activities, assessing listening and speaking skills, planning for teaching listening and speaking, planning remedial and enrichment activities and microteaching.

Kursus ini memberi fokus pada prinsip pengajaran kemahiran mendengar dan bertutur, meningkatkan perkembangan kemahiran mendengar dan bertutur, pemilihan dan kesesuaian bahan dan aktiviti, pentaksiran kemahiran mendengar dan bertutur, merancang pengajaran dan pembelajaran, merancang aktiviti pemulihan serta pengkayaan dan melaksanakan pengajaran mikro.
