    Objectives:

    1. Explain the level and language proficiency, development and language skills

    2. Describe teaching strategies for oral, reading, and comprehension skills for learning disabilities students

    4. Providing Daily Lesson Plan (FMP) for verbal skills, reading, writing and comprehension

    DIRECTION OF DUTIES:

    Special need pupils classified as individuals who are performing at the basic skill of 3M (ie reading, writing and arithmetic). In theEnglish language subject, students showed weaknesses in terms of oral, reading, comprehension and writing skills. SpecialEducation Teacher should have the initiative to provide as many teaching approaches and aids which are appropriate and effective

    ways to help students to solve the problems in mastering these skills.

    As individual, you are planning, designing and producing an individual educational plan (IEP), daily lesson plan and teaching aidsfor the teaching of special need students. The tasks that you want to create must be designed based on the Special EducationEnglish Language syllabus. Please note that your tasks must be integrated with ICT skills. A micro teaching session should beconducted based on lesson plan and teaching kits that you created. You are also required to prepare a report and user guide foryour teaching kit and a detailed reflection on the the tasks that you had been doing. You also have to present / demonstrate thereporting results and product / ICT.

    For this project, you are required to:

    1. Plan IEP and Daily Lesson Plan based on Special Education English Language syllabus .2. Build materials and teaching aids which are integrated with information and communication technology (ICT) for the skills thatyou choose either(a) verbal (Listening) skills(b) Verbal (Speaking) skills(c) reading skills(d) comprehension skills(e) Writing Skills3. Choosing a teaching strategy to address the skills to teach the following skills(a) verbal (Listening) skills(b)verbal (Speaking)(c) reading skills(d) comprehension skills(e) writing skills4. Implementing Micro- teaching based on the daily teaching plans that you have provided5. To reflect the implementation of this task

    ADMINISTRATIVE INSTRUCTIONS:1. Reports must be typed using font Arial, size 12 and 1 line spacing.2. Cover color is dark yellow.3. Source / reference materials should be specified in a predetermined format (eg APA).4. Diagrams, tables and pictures should be labeled, numbered and included in the list (Appendix).5. Sources of information should be disclosed in writing.6. Outer cover must be completed with the following information:
