Assignment Brief The site visit will give exposure to students where they will be able to describe, explain and understand the method and process of construction in accordance to the sequence of work on site. This is a report on a site visit to a construction site incorporating all the learning outcomes of the site visit, the introduction of the site and technical observations made on site. For this report, students are required to study on PAD FOOTING. Items to be considered are: a) How a pad footing is constructed? (Formwork, method of construction, etc) b) What are the materials involved in constructing a pad footing? Assessment Criteria (10 marks for each module) Breakdown of marks are: Introduction of the site visit : 1 Content/ Technical observations : 6 Photos and descriptions : 2 Learning outcomes/ Conclusion : 1
