RHB Research is upbeat on Sunway Bhd’s continuous effort in unlocking its asset values."Sunway announce

its proposed disposal of Sunway Hotel Georgetown (RM74 million) and Wisma Sunway (RM60 million), wort

a combined value of RM134 million, to Sunway REIT."The four-star hotel has 250 rooms, the office has an n

letatble area (NLA) of 172,000 square feet. The disposal will likely be completed in late Q2 2015.

The Goods and Services Tax (GST) is likely to have minimal impact on the renovation construction sect

during the initial phase of implementation of the new tax system from April 1, next year. Constructio

IJM Corp Bhd will dispose of 100 per cent of its stake in the Jaipur-Mahua Tollway Private Ltd (JMTPL) to IS

Asia Infrastructure I-A Private Limited for RM295 million. The estimated gain from the disposal

approximately RM188 million. “The disposal will be initially for 74 per cent of the equity and the balance 2

per cent shall be disposed off upon obtaining the approval from the National Highways Authority of India

within a period of two years from the completion of the disposal of 74 per cent of the equity.

Khazanah Nasional Bhd’s decision to appoint Christoph Mueller as chief executive officer (CEO) of Malays

Airlines new company (MAS NewCo) is in line with the 12-point MAS Recovery Plan, which includes a glob

search for the best candidate to revamp the airline.

MAYBANK Investment Bank (Maybank IB) says there is still value in Bumi Armada Bhd shares despite th

surprise move by Hassan Assad Basma, who is relinquishing his position as chief executive officer (CEO) an

executive director of the companyChan Chee Beng will act as an interim CEO/director as Bumi Armad

searches for a suitable candidate to replace Hassan.
