In conjunction with the dual celebration which is the Holy Month of Ramadan and 54th Independence Day Malaysia, Philea Resort and Spa distributed 5,000 packs of ‘Bubur Lambuk’ and national flags to all walks of life, the orphans, guests and associates of the resort.

The 100 resort associates gathered as early as 8am in the morning to do the setting up of tents, tables and chairs while the chefs cooked up a storm of delicious Bubur Lambuk led by our Executive Chef, Chef Azmi bin Desa and supported by Chef Mohd Kamal bin Damiri, Chef de Cuisine and team.

We have also prepared for orphanages from the homes of Kompleks Rumah Anak Yatim Fatimah Al Zaharah (KAYFAZ), Ruman Tunas Harapan Semarak Kasih and Rumah Anak Yatim Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Al-Haj (RAYSAAS).

This event is jointly organized by the Tourism Malaysia Melaka, Pelancongan Tourism Melaka, Kementerian Pelancongan Malaysia and ERA FM. VIPs in attendance to grace this event were Datuk Latiff Tamby Chik, Pengerusi Jawatankuasa Negeri Pelancongan, Kebudayaan dan Warisan, Negeri Melaka, Norisyam bin Odzali, Tourism Officer, Tourism Malaysia Melaka and Tn Haji Yazid bin Mohd Ali, Penolong Pegawai Tadbir Kanan, Kementerian Pelancongan Malaysia Melaka.

Philea Resort and Spa recently invited 100 children from Kompleks Rumah Anak Yatim Fatimah Al Zaharah (KAYFAZ) and Rumah Tunas Harapan Semarak Kasih for a truly hearty ‘Berbuka Puasa” experience which was graced by YAB Datin Seri Datuk Wira Hajjah Asmah Binti Abdul Rahman, wife of Chief Minister of Melaka and local artistes namely Zaibo, Azizi Zakaria, and Zenny Saluhuddin who were all geared up to entertain these children.
