REFLEKSI TUGASAN PENGAJIAN PROFESIONAL

Five days of being in the school I managed to see and understand that the

school focuses on all aspects which includes physical, cognitive, social and also

spiritual aspects. Although the student’s academic achievement is only average but they

are holistically well balanced. It is impossible to produce good students without all

these aspects. By implementing all these aspects to the students, they will train to be a

useful and successful human being on earth.

 As we know, school is the second home for students and teacher. The school

has a good environment for the students to study. The main thing is the safety issue.

The school has guards who work and not just sit around. This will ensure the students

safety. Besides, the school is also very eco-friendly. It has a lot of plants and garden

which makes the school looks better and cooler. Students have a lot of place to read

and study besides using the classroom. The school have provided them with so many

good facilities for example the surau for the muslims to perform their prayers, and also a

tv room(bilik tayangan) which is use to play any movie for the students to watch. The

classroom are very well organized and its also furnished with good quality of desk and

chairs which will make the students feel comfortable to learn.

Furthermore, looking from a cognitive point of view, I would say that majority of 

the students are quite matured.They can compete healthily among themselves in class.

Students can already differentiate what is right and wrong which makes them aware. I

personally feels that most of the student can think very well as for example when a

teacher ask a question students will rush and try to be the first one to answer. I believe

that environmental factors such as teachers expectation and the awareness of teachers

towards their students, helps the student achievement and excellence in educationtogether with teachers to assist their efforts in academics also cause the level of their 

cognitive growth. Appropriate teaching methods which are suitable with the student’s

level will also help the students to grow their cognitive skill.

From the social aspect point of view I would say that the school lives in harmony

whereby everyone socialize with one another. Teachers are strict but they act like a

parent toward the students; This will indirectly have a positive impact on the

development of students as they feel safely surrounded by all communities in the school

.Students among themselves could socialize very well from what I observe. They are

very mature and their thinking is open in the sense that they don’t choose their friends

by colours, race or religion. This is a very good value which I think everybody should

practice it. In class they sit and talk with anyone for example without choosing which will

make them a sociable person in the future and they wouldn’t be in cultural shocked one

day when they need to face the outside world which consist of so many types of 

different people. I can conclude and say that this school is practicing a healthy way of 

socializing and it is following the concept of 1 Malaysia which makes all of us from

different ethnic group the same.

In addition, the spiritual aspect is also emphasized and practiced by the school.

 As we know Pendidikan Islam and also Pendidikan Moral is one of the subject which is

need to be taught in school. This is so that students can develop the spiritual aspect in

them.In addition, the school also has a ‘Doa’ praying session every morning at the

school hall and for the non muslims students, they are given the time to pry as well. This

shows that the school pushing up the students to have a balanced and comprehensive

development of all aspects of cognitive, physical, social, emotional and also spiritual.

 As the conclusion, all the hard works done by the school management really

helps in developing the students equally towards the aspect of physical, cognitive,

social and spiritual. ( 684 words)
