    1. A student carries out an experiment to investigate the relationship between the

    length , lof a piece of wire X placed at the cut A of cardboard strip and the angle , .

    The apparatus set-up for this experiment is shown in Diagram 1.1 and 1.2.

    The student starts the experiment with the length, lof a piece of wire X that is

    50.0 cm. The corresponding reading of protractor is shown in Diagram 1.3 on page 3.

    The experiment is repeated with length,lof wire 40.0 cm, 30.0 cm, 20.0 cm and 10.0

    cm. The corresponding readings of protractor are shown in Diagram 1.4, 1.5, 1.6 and

    1.7 on pages 3, 4 and 5.
