TOPIC : Violence Among School Children

SITUATION

Violence among school children is becoming more severe from days to days. In the 50s

and 60s, we hardly heard of violence among school children. In those days, the term

violence was largely confined to describe gang fight. Lately, there have been reports of

juvenile violence in media. Most of these cases were brutal and even fatal.

THEME 2 : Youth

TOPIC : Peer Pressure

SITUATION

Research has shown that the teenage years are often years of rebellion. It is when the

teenager rejects the norms established by parents, teachers and adults. It is also a time

when peer pressure becomes overwhelming. Peer pressure is more dominant while

parental link is weakening.

THEME 3 : Technology

TOPIC : Mass Media

SITUATION

The mass media has a great influence on people, especially the younger generation. It

plays an important role in shaping the opinions and positions of the younger generation.

TOPIC : Modern Invention

SITUATION

Modern inventions are important in todays life. Computers, television, telephones,

microwaves, washing machines and others are some examples. These modern

inventions have made our life easier and we are heavily depending on them.

SITUATION

Time management is the act or process of exercising conscious control over the amount

of time spent on specific activities, especially to increase efficiency or productivity. It is a

good habit to use time wisely.

SITUATION

All form of technology serve as tools for solving problems. Telephones, automobile and

computers are some of the inventions that have affected almost every aspect of our

lives.

TOPIC : Improving Standards of Sports

SITUATION

Our Education Minister Tan Sri MuhyiddinYassin has announced the policy of I Student

I Sport to all schools in Malaysia in 2010. Students are going to benefit through this

programme. The implementation of 1Student 1Sport is going to make the studentshealthier.

SITUATION

English Language is an international language. It is spoken widely all around the world.

In Malaysia English Language has become the second language. However the standard

of English has deteriorated among the teenagers nowadays.

TOPIC : Healthy Lifestyle

SITUATION

To have healthy lifestyle that is healthy and stress-free, we need to take care of our

health, follow a well planned regime and avoid taking risks. In order to maintain a

healthy lifestyle, we must make a conscious attempt to take care of both our physical

and mental health.
