Anda haruslebih fokus padajawaban orang kedua.

Jika semua jawaban hampir sama,

maka carilah yang paling berbeda

Jangan terkecoh mencocokkan

bunyi antara yang anda dengar

(audio) dengan yang anda baca(lembar soal). Kadang jawaban yang

benar justru yang bunyinya berbeda

(tapi artinya sama).

TIPS SOAL LISTENING

Lihatlah soal terlebih dahulu sebelummenjawab

Kata-kata di lembar soal biasanya

digunakan untuk mengecoh, seolahkata-kata itu yang diujikan, sehingga

anda terjebak pada mencocokkan

bunyi. Contoh, kata DOOR/DRAWER,kata WRITE/RIGHT, kata

DIDNT/WOULDNT/SHOULDNT

Awas kata-kata NEGATIF seperti ABSENT(tidak hadir) pada lembar soal, dengan kata

DIDNT COME (tidak hadir) dari peranti audio,

demikian pula dengan kalimat AKTIFPASIF.

Pada bagian C (Conversation, DUA ORANG

atau LEBIH), buatlah antisipasi

pertanyaan dengan 5W dan 1H (WHAT,

WHEN, WHY, WHO, WHERE, dan HOW).

Biasakan mendengarkan (movie) Bahasa

Inggris dengan transkripnya

Jika mau nembak maka harus sama

tembakannya.
