1. Lukisan Isometrik melibatkan 2 dimensi iaitu panjang dan lebar sahaja.2. Kecondongan objek dalam lukisan isometrik adalah 45.3. Paksi isometrik boleh disusun dalam pelbagai kedudukan asalkan jarak anatara paksi adalah 120.4. Terdapat 3 jenis paksi iaitu paksi lazim, paksi terbalik dan paksi isometrik5. Paksi lazim adalah untuk objek dipandang dari arah bawah.
