His Highness’ second visit in a year is part of the ever-developing relations between the two sides, Sheikh Ali told KUNA. His Highness Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak’s meeting with Italian President Sergio Mattarella and Prime Minister Matteo Renzi in Rome resulted in agreeing on holding the first session of the joint Italian-Kuwaiti cooperation committee on economy, investment, mili- tary and political cooperation, said the Ambassador. Meanwhile, he noted that the two nations were also strongly developing their cultural ties, citing the launch of the first ‘Art of the Islamic Civilization’ exhibi- tion organized by Kuwait’s Dar Al-Athar Al-Islamiyyah (DAI), as well as Kuwait’s pavilion at Expo Milano 2015 as examples. Head of the media office of the Ministry of Health Dr Ghalia Al-Mutairi said that that there will be a designated pavilion for the campaign at Kuwait International Airport. There, staff will offer pilgrims guidance as well as answer any ques- tions they may have. Informative films will be screened at the air- port and leaflets will be given on board flights headed to the hallowed grounds of Makkah, Mutairi said. The campaign is a strategic attempt to maintain the safety of Kuwaiti pilgrims as well as meet demands of international health organi- zations on the importance of generating aware- ness among pilgrims on ways to avoid conta- gious diseases, Mutairi added. The campaign will also ensure that pilgrims meet health guidelines issued by international health organizations in light of the imminent start of the Hajj season. Mutairi also noted the importance of adequate sleep in aiding pilgrims in completing the often grueling Hajj, or pilgrim- age.
