    1. Farewell Speech for a BossAssalamualaikum and a very good morning I bid to my dear Mr. Mahadi, my fellow

colleagues, and all of you who are here on this occasion today. First and foremost, I would like

to express my gratitude for being given this golden opportunity to take this floor and present a

farewell speech for our honourable boss, who will be moving to Malakoff Corporation Berhad,

a multinational company located at Kuala Lumpur. It looks like things are looking up for him,

as he has been promoted as Head Secretary in that company effective from 1 Mac 2012.

Throughout my speech, I will bring all of you to take a glimpse at Mr. Mahadis memory that

will always live within our heart forever.

    My dear friends,

I have to say that he treated us as his family members and gave great cooperation we

required at every vital time of our work. We found him gentle and humble, always ready to

solve our problems. No doubt we had a gem of a person as the head of our company. Although

he is getting departed from us, we still need him to assist us with his good guidance, when we

require him, on any matter. Apart from official matters, I found him helpful personally with his

    kind gentleness.

Mr. Mahadi has spent 7 years with us, and in that time he has marked himself with his

diligence in the workplace. His ingenious idea in our recent project has resulted in great

success which I hope inspires others in what can be achieved. Of course, he will also be

remembered for the everyday things, such as his friendly antics during lunch time with his

employees. His moving on for a bigger and brighter step will leave a gaping hole in the

company. While he has put in place some amazing ideas that will bring more victory to our

company, I believe that his new worksite will provide him with much more learning experience

for him to enhance his skills in making sure his life will be so much better in the future.

Although some of the staffs here were giving cold head over him, but he still looked as

he was at ease. Even when some of the community members gave negative feedback towards

our company, but Mr. Mahadi was still cool enough to confront it. Never crossed in our mind

that all the criticism that hit upon our company was pressurized on Mr. Mahadi, but for the sake

of his beloved staffs, Mr. Mahadi was willing to accept the bad words thrown by the outsiders

and took it as a way of self-improving.

    My fellow colleagues,

But still, his absence in this company will leave a very big emptiness no one can ever

fill in like he does. To our beloved boss, Mr. Mahadi, we will always miss you and your

countless contributions towards this company. I thank him from the bottom of my heart and on

behalf of this company, and I also would like to ask for his forgiveness on behalf of the staffs if

we had done something wrong that might hurt his feeling throughout his period as the employer

here. Hence, without any further delay, I would like to ask all of you to give an applause to Mr.

Mahadi for his great works in this humble company. Thank you very much, sir.

With that, I would like to say thank you once more for giving me this golden

opportunity to be here and give a speech for this event. Thank you.

    2. Opening Speech at PTAs Meeting

Assalamualaikum and good afternoon I bid to our honourable guests, teachers, parents,

and beloved students. On behalf of the Parents and Teachers Association (PTA) committee, it

is my pleasure to welcome all of you to the Annual PTA Meeting today. Personally, I

appreciate your commitment to attend this event although most of you are in the hustle and

bustle of your daily job. This remind us here on just how supportive the parents here to make

sure that the place for their children to learn will be a better place in the future. Hence, thanks

again to the parents who are willing to be here.

    Ladies and gentlemen,

The United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights has specify in Article 26 of

the 1948 agreement that education should be compulsory and free for children across the world.

The main goal of education based on this agreement is just one: to set full development of the

human personality. One of the main organization that responsible to uphold this mission is

none other than the education institution itself. PTA is an association under the school and

hence have its own responsibility in helping to realize such mission.

The PTA highest committee is determined to raise the quality of life for every student,

both inside and outside of school. Through active participation, we want all students in this

school to recognize and achieve their full potential, and we as parents and teachers are obliged

to make it a reality. Thus, PTA provide a very suitable and conducive platform to give as many

assistance as possible step by step for the sake of the children here. Full support by the parents

are crucial as it may boost the students confidence while doing activities in school. With

respect to that, good relationship between parents and school administration is an important

element for that, and by having this meeting, that element can be brought another step forward.

PTA is not just about developing great agendas for the students, it is also about teachers

and parents act as if they are partners in joint ownership of a valuable corporation. If theyre to

nurture this corporation and ensure its success, they must be intentional about establishing good

communication. To develop the communication that will allow parents and teachers to make

plans, set goals, solve problems, and ascertain the connection that they need in order to have a

good partnership, hence an event like todays meeting is required from time to time.

    Teachers and students,

I am truly happy today as the attendance of parents is very encouraging, and I hope that

your continuous support to the school will never come to an end. We can exchange thoughts

and ideas during a few discussions after this in order to improve the performance of this

prestigious alma mater. Once again, thank you to all of you who come here today, and welcome

once more to this annually meeting. With that, thank you.

    3. Speech to Call for Peoples DonationAssalamualaikum and good evening I bid to our guest of honour, representatives from

all the welfare houses around Segamat, fellow residents who are here today, ladies and

gentlemen. First of all, I would like to welcome all of you to the Annual Charity Carnival

which will officially be opened just a few moments from now. As all of us know, just like

previous years, this carnival is organized in order to gain consciousness among public about the

importance of lending some hands to help the needy and poor in our district.

    Ladies and gentlemen,

Since the first carnival was held about a decade ago, the Department of Social Welfare

(DSW) as the planner had received numerous positive feedback from the surrounding

community. At the same time, over RM 170,000 had been collected from this carnival alone,

which were distributed to many unfortunate people as an initiative to bring them out of poverty

and adversity. Some charity organizations also got good impact from the distribution, since

theyve been using that fund to upgrade the facilities in countless welfare houses. Hence, this

carnival had been beneficial in terms of bringing more easiness to those who are in need.

However, along with the times, so do the increase of the urban poor around the world.

In Segamat alone, there are several areas identified to be the home of these class. This is

exacerbated by the economic depression that spread to all the four corners of the world,

including our own country, Malaysia. This situation cause poor people in rural areas to endure

an even harder life, as they have to keep on living in extreme scarcity. To overcome this crisis,

it is an obligation for the whole society to give as many aid as possible in order to ease the

burden of these people. Thats the main goal for this carnival.

    My dear community members,

Through the many programme conducted by DSW, civil lance are getting more aware

of the current circumstances around them, and the action that need to be done to solve this

problem. But so, just plain concerns is not enough if they do not give at least a little amount of

money to show their true concern. So, I plead to all of you who are here today to give donations

and commitment to help the DSW eradicate poverty in a more drastic approach. Your help

indeed is large enough means to those heart youve helped in the future.

It is my duty and responsibility on behalf of DSW, to inform you once again of what we

did and intend doing with the donations you have generously given us the past decade. We

thank you deeply from our hearts and pray that God will bless you and enrich you further for

your care and concern of the deprived. We beg you to continue to give us your trust and

confidence which have motivated DSW to dedicate itself into helping the needy regardless of

race, age, and place throughout our beloved district.

Once again, I would like to welcome you to this once-a-year carnival. I also hope youll

enjoy the activities conducted and at the same time willing to give as many donations as you

can to realize our noble objective. With that, thank you.
