    and submission of your assignment. Your assignment should be typed using 12 point Times New Roman

    INSTRUCTIONS

    This assignment aims to assess and enhance your focal knowledge of grammar.

    Choose a simple short story about 500-600 words in length that has already been published.Read the story thoroughly, study its elements of morphology, syntax and semantics and then

    answer the question below.

    Identify and analyse the following elements/structures in the short story. Then classify them

    and discuss their functions or principles involved in creating the groupings of words or

    phrases. You are required to refer to TWO grammar books to support your answer. Provide

    THREE examples of each element/structure.

    dinilai berdasarkan kepada Skema Jawapan yang dilampirkan. / This assignment accounts
