The text below provides directions to the state Library from the Central Bus Station.

Read the text below. There are grammatical errors in the text. The errors have been underlined for you.

To get to the State Library, you need to turning left into Jalan Mawar from the Central Bus Station. Walk along Jalan Mawar until you came to a T-junction. Turn right onto Jalan Cahaya. You can see a row of shophouses on your left. On your right, there is a fruit stall where you might buy all kinds of local fruits. Walk further down the road but you will come to a bridge. After crossing the bridge, you will see a huge art gallery in your left. This is the building where well-known pieces of local arts and crafts are displayed. Immediately after a art gallery, you will see a junction. Turn right into Jalan Mentari. At the end over the road, there is a roundabout. There are five roads branching in from the roundabout. Take the third exit and go along the road. You will soon saw a petrol station on your right. The State Library is situated next of the petrol station. It has a Minangkabau roof. Best friend

I have a best friend. Her name is Selvi. I have known Selvi since Primary One. Selvi can sing cery well; therefore it is no surprise that she wants to be a singer one day. However, she also wants to be a dentist. So Selvi always says that she is going to be known as the singing dentist when she grows up.

I like Selvi because she is a humourous and generous person. When I am with her, there is never a dull moment as she always cracks jokes.

Selvi is also active in extracurricular activities. She is in the Welfare Society and the Drama Club. Selvi also enjoys trying out different types of food. However, her two favourite foods are fried chicken and ice-cream. She usually makes fried chicken during the weekends. I enjoy eating her delicious fried chicken.

During her free time, Selvi likes to paint. She loves to paint landscapes. There is a park with a lake near her house. She always goes there to paint the wonderful scenery. Selvi also likes to read comic books. She finds them very entertaining.

There are 99 islands in the Langkawi Archipelago. Located in the Andaman Sea, each iland is a beautiful treasure just waiting to be explored!

Day 1 : Fun in the Sun

You could either relax on the popular, powdery-white beach of Pantai Cenang which is right on the main island or you can go to the Langkawi Mangrove Forest. At the Langkawi Mangrove Forest, you will see eagles and limestone caves. However, if you enjoy snorkeling, a visit to Pulau Payar Marine Park would be worth your while.

Day 2 : Island Attractions

On the second day, you could head to Kuah town to visit the museums. You might also want to visit the Langkawi Crocodile Farm, with more than 1000 of the big beasts! Make sure you attend one of the hourly shows. Nearby is the Langkawi Underwater World aquarium, offers a fish-eye view of life in the Straits of Malacca. You can visit both attractions on a three-hour tour, which includes air-conditioned transportation and airport pickup.

Day 3 : Shop Till You Drop Although Langkawi Island is famous for its beaches, it is also equally famous for being a duty-free shopping destination. Shoppers usually start their day at the adorable Oriental Village, an Asian-themed shopping centre with family-friendly entertainment and restaurants. Serious shoppers can head to the Langkawi Parade Shopping Complex. However before you go shopping, take the fantastic cable car ride to the top of Gunung Mat Chinchang and enjoy a beautiful view of Langkawi.

Firstly, you are a very approachable and friendly person. You carry yourself well and are outgoing. You are easy to talk to because you are a good listener. I have also seen how you always make time to listen to someone in need.

Besides that, you perform your duties and responsibilities well in school. You dont act with fear or favour but in the interest of the school. As I know, personal glory and gaining popularity have never been your aim in undertaking any task. You just set out to do the task assigned to you.

Moreover, you are also active in co-curricular activities. As a netball team captain, you have inspired your team to be the district champion for the first time. Even though you played a significant role during the championship, you did not take all the credit. You acknowledge that it was a team effort and gave credit to the others where it was due. That is a true leader! You have also shown that you are a good role model for the other students. Many students have looked to you for guidance and advice.
