Track 4A - 1,440 MW Combined Cycle Power Plant PROJECT

Track 4A is a new power plant located in Pasir Gudang, Johor that’s expected to achieve scheduled commercial operation on 1st July 2020. We have completed ten shipments of numerous different structures that have varying dimensions and weights. Many more larger and heavier cargoes are expected to arrive in the coming months. We expect to complete our scope by the third quarter of 2019.

42 pieces of cargoes imported from Germany are currently stored in our Port Klang yard for fabrication and installation works. These are parts of a sewage plant that segregates liquid and solid.

Temporary Import of Locomotives PROJECT

We transported three units of locomotives along with their chargers from Singapore to Gombak for rehabilitation purposes. A temporary import permit was obtained as we will deliver them back to Singapore once all repair works are done.

100-tonne cargoes from Germany in Megalift Yard

We handled a large shipment of 132 kV gas insulated substation (GIS) for the ongoing railway project in Klang Valley. Series of deliveries, using low loaders and general trailers, were done from Port Klang to the site in Kepong, Kuala Lumpur. The shipment includes some dangerous cargoes and several units of transformers.

For the same railway line, we also delivered the tunnel boring machines (TBM) to the underground stations. Parts of the TBM front shield, manlock and gantries, all of which are different in shapes, dimensions and weights.

Activities within the MTML Group

We celebrated our group’s 38th anniversary this year and it’s definitely a milestone we that we take pride in. It was an enjoyable night with more than 350 participants. During the dinner we also gave out long service awards to 77 of our staffs who have been with us for 10, 20 and 30 years.

Congratulations to our Multi-Trans and Megalift bowlers for emerging as Champions and First Runners Up in the recent Selangor Freight Forwarders Logistics Association, SFFLA’s Bowling Championship in Kuala Lumpur!

We completed an air freight training for Multi-Trans’ sales team in our office in MAS Kargo, KLIA and a tour to the customs’ office as well as airline terminal.

More than 30 of us attended Multi-Trans and Megalift’s yearly First Aid & CPR training to equip themselves with the first aid skills during the occurrence of any emergencies. It is a skill and knowledge highly useful in both our job and in our personal lives.
