MOTIVE FOR STARTING THE BUSINESS :

• Spreading the beef noodles dishes

• Wanting to create a new concept of noodles

• To give the dish an identity

RECENT DEVELOPMENT:

• Have 3 branches

• Spreaded to Kuala Lumpur

• Had created more dishes than the original

• Developed the true noodle material

• Spread noodles from Sarawak to KL

• Provide people here an original taste of the

noodles

RECENT DEVELOPMENT:

• Created more than one type of noodles

• Worked from a small stall into a shop

• Will be opening their second shop in SS2 on

December this year

• Have many different noodle shops around that area

• Shops that sell cheaper food

• Shops that sell a large variety of food

• Few colleges located around the vicinity of SS15

OBSTACLES OR CHALLENGES

• Too many food businesses, hard to enter as a new

market

• There are a lot of old food businesses that they have

already success for years

• The older food businesses would more regular

customers, harder for the locals to be attracted to the

new business

• Customers fear newer shops are not worth the money

and they have already gotten use to the taste and

flavour of the older business

• Not easy to overcome older business‘s strength

• They have a monopolistic competition

• This is due to the fact it has only one main competitor

Srk Noodle House

• Perfect competition

• This is due to the umerous number of competitors at ss15 such as Ooi noodle

house, Foh Foh food court and many more

STRATEGY USED

Srk Noodle House

• Setting an extremely low price for one bowl of noodles

• Provides a lot of comfort for their customers

• Television to watch while eating

• An air conditioned area

• Business has recently gotten better for them

• They are still trying to cover up for their loss

• Going to open another branch closer to the city

Yee Kee Beef Noodles

• They compete with their competitors venturing more to the social

media

• Created a Facebook page

• People will know about their beef noodles

• Most people in the world have a Facebook account

• Their business is currently categories as quite successful

• They have a constant amount of income every year

• They currently have 2 branches which are both located in Seremban

• There will be a new branch which is venturing more towards Kuala

Lumpur

RECOMMENDATIONFirstly, for them to compete with the market:

• They need to have certain skills and strategies

• Won’t struggle from loss

• Which is the marketing skills obtained

• The way to promote their products, services and of course their

restaurant

• The main way to is through social media

• Facebook

• Twitter

• Foursquare and - promote your marketing by checking in the location

• Advertisement on television and radio

Secondly, they need to research the overall market:

• Discovered the hidden strength and weakness of

• Competitors

• Own businesses

• Compare your business and other businesses

• Know what to improve and improvised for your business

• Can monopoly the whole market
