He had detailed knowledge in the field of Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA),Environmental Management Plan (EMP), Emergency Response Plan (ERP),Environmental Monitoring & Auditing (EM & A) and Environmental ManagementSystem (EMS). He was involved in ERP for the Gelugor Power Station, Penang andPutrajaya Development ; PEIA for Proposed Development on Lot 378, Hulu Kelang,Selangor and Proposed International Multicultural 6-Star Resort at Pulau Langkawi,Kedah ; EMP for Putrajaya Developments [Precinct 9, 11, Prime Minister’s Residence& Wastewater Treatment Plant (STP2) At Precinct 5] and also Prime Granite (M) SdnBhd for a granite processing factory in Negeri Sembilan ; and EM & A of the KualaLumpur International Airport (KLIA) construction phase, July 1995 - December 1997.He was also a member of the Gunung-Ganang Corporation Sdn Bhd, IndependentEnvironmental Audit Team (IEAT) to carry out quarterly environmental complianceaudit for the Sungai Selangor Phase 3 (SSP3) Project (Dec. 2000 – Jun. 2002) on theenvironmental protection and management activities of the Syarikat Pengeluar AirSungai Selangor Sdn Bhd (SPLASH). His other project experience includes Phase 1 &Phase 2 Environmental Site Assessment and Environmental Screening Studies inHyderabad, India and Kalasin, Thailand.
He had attended various courses which includes ISO 14000 Advanced EnvironmentalManagement System Auditors Course, ISO 14000 Identifying Environmental Aspects& Impacts organized by Sirim Training Services Sdn Bhd and also NIOSH Safety &Health Officer Course. He is a registered EIA Consultant with DOE (C0139). He wasalso formerly working for the Department of Fisheries Malaysia in the management ofMarine Parks and Protected Areas. Mohd Nizam Abu BakarNizam had served in various organizations before joining ARDHMILLENIA. Amongstthe organizations in which he served as the key person in environmental managementare, Precinct 10 Sdn. Bhd, Putrajaya Holdings S/B, Percon Corporation, Departmentof Environment and Asiatic Development Berhad. He had vast experience and exposure in the area of Environmental Management andinvolved in various important decision making process.
