Write a reflection of your experience teaching the play using the selected technique and activity. Based on the teaching session that has been conducted, I have learnt a lot on how to choose the proper technique in teaching play. The experience was a great opportunity for me to learn more on how to fully utilize the selected technique in conducting the activity for the play in the classroom. In the lesson, I have conducted the freeze frame technique (tableau) to teach a play entitled The King of Kites. From the lesson, I have learnt that tableau encourages the pupils to participate actively in the activity. According to my observation, the pupils are very shy and insecure in using the language. They are more comfortable to learn through non-verbal communication to express their thoughts about the play. On the other hand, I would improvise my way teaching the play usingAll in all, I believe that the tableau technique provides the best learning experience for the pupils.
