The teaching and learning of transformation is an important aspect of lower secondary

mathematics.

Search the Internet and other electronic resources for journals or articles on the teaching

of lower secondary mathematics in schools. Select TWO articles on the teaching and

learning of transformations in lower secondary mathematics. Evaluate the TWO articles

with a focus on the strategies to teach the basic concepts of transformations.

Outline one teaching activity for students of lower secondary mathematics to identify the

properties of transformations. Suggest how you can enhance the strategies for the

teaching activity to suit students who are low achievers. Provide justifications to support

your suggestions.

SOALAN TUGASAN

Pengajaran dan pembelajaran transformasi adalah satu aspek penting dalam matematik

menengah rendah.

Buat carian di Internet dan sumber elektronik yang lain untuk jurnal atau artikel untuk

pengajaran matematik menengah rendah di sekolah-sekolah. Pilih DUA artikel mengenai

pengajaran dan pembelajaran transformasi dalam matematik menengah rendah. Jalankan

penilaian ke atas DUA artikel ini dengan memberi tumpuan kepada strategi-strategi untuk

mengajar konsep-konsep asas transformasi.

Gariskan satu aktiviti pengajaran untuk para pelajar matematik menengah rendah untuk

mengenal ciri-ciri transformasi. Cadangkan bagaimana anda boleh meningkatkan strategi

untuk aktiviti pengajaran anda supaya sesuai dengan pelajar-pelajar yang berpencapaian
