1. LATAR BELAKANG

Matlamat

1) Menjadi pusat latihan kepada para penyelidik dalam menggunakan pelbagai model matematik, perisian atau teknik analisis data, kaedah pengendalian penyelidikan saintifik, dan penerapan algorithm sesuai dengan keperluan dan permasalahan terokaan.

2) Menjadikan UKM sebagai pusat rujukan bagi aspek-aspek pembangunan model dan analisis data.

3) Menjadi pemangkin serta penggerak dalam menarik dana penyelidikan bagi pelbagai bidang dalam sains matematik.
