INTRODUCTION

This manual contains instruction for teachers to conduct the oral assessment

during the teaching and learning process. It also contains some suggested activities for

assessment. It also shows how ULB can !e conducted at different phases of a lesson.

Two sample lesson plans which incorporate ULB assessment are included as a guide for

teachers.

. ULB can !e carried out at an* phase of a lesson. In ection C/ suggested activities

for assessment and the corresponding models where ULB can !e carried out are

included.
