First TimersTawau Toastmasters Club meeting on 22nd June 2010 saw many first timers. These members have gathered

enough courage to take on new roles, trying on new tasks.

Liew Hon Min offered to take up the role of Invocator. He shared about birthdays, why some did not celebrated

birthdays for their entire lives. Liew later presented his third Competent Communicator speech.

Toastmaster of The Evening, Donysiew Julian did not hesitate when offered to take up the role. He performedwell. He did especially well when leading the members and guests to dance to the music of Macarena, during the

warming up session. The audience naturally warmed up to him.

Grammarian Lim Ko Wii too was a first timer. Riding high on various current issues, he chose 'abolish' as the

word of the day.
