Pengenalan

• Tapak Pelupusan Jerangau Jabor (TPJJ)meliputi kawasan kira-kira 30.0 hektar.

• Terang Bersih Sdn Bhd (TBSB)diamanahkan untuk mengurus danmembangunkan tapak pelupusan ini kedalam fasa pelupusan sampah oleh fasadengan menggunakan konsep “Semiaerobik Recirculatory System” atau„Kaedah Fukuoka”.

• TPJJ mempunyai kapasiti untukmengambil kira-kira 500 tan sisa pepejalsetiap hari dan boleh digunakan sehinggaia mencapai kapasiti maksimum dalammasa kira-kira 5 tahun

Landfilling Method

• Terdapat 3 kaedah asas untuk landfilling, bergantungkepada keadaan dan maklumat tapak.

A) Area method• Perlu digunakan apabila topografi dan keadaan geologi tidak

sesuai untuk penggalian parit untuk meletakkan sisa pepejal

B) Trench method• Sangat sesuai untuk kawasan yang mempunyai kedalaman yang

mencukupi, bahan penutup boleh didapati di kawasan tapakdan tiada takungan air di kawasan berhampiran permukaan

C) Cell method• Ini melibatkan pelupusan bahan buangan di dalam kawasan

pra-bina bund

Landfill Level

• Garis panduan KPKT digunapakai untuk menaik tarafkemudahan dan operasi di tapak pelupusan sampahdi setiap pihak berkuasa tempatan

• 4 tahap tapak pelupusan telah dikenal pasti:

• Level 1 : Waste sites defined & tipping controlled• Level 2 : Waste disposed in bunded areas with daily

cover, passive gas venting, and leachate drainage

• Level 3 : Waste contained, gas vented and leachate

recirculation• Level 4 : Sanitary landfill, gas controls, leachate

treated

Fukouka Method

• Antara kelebihan menggunakan kaedah semi aerobikadalah:

a) Kualiti leachate adalah lebih baik danmenjimatkan kos untuk melakukan secondary treatmentb) Penjanaan/pembebasan methane (CH4) danhidrogen sulfida (H2S) adalah terkawal dan mudahdiuruskanc) Mempercepatkan proses pereputand) Teknologi yang kos efektif dan mudah untukdibinae) Menyingkatkan masa bagi kegunaan lain tapak

Penjanaan Sisa Pepejal

• Pecahan sampah yang diterima keTPJJ :

a) Sampah Domestik : 300-500 tan/hari

- Residental Area- Market- Buisness Area

b) Sampah Industri : 100-150 tan/hari

- Small Medium Industry- Intrepreneur Area

Waste Collection & Transportation

• Sampah yang di kutip di kawasan berkenaan dihantar ke tapak pelupusan secara directly atauindirectly bergantung kepada source of wastegeneration.

• Terdapat beberapa jenis lori yang digunakanuntuk mengutip dan menghantar sampah kelandfill.

• Hydraulic Compactor (HC), Ro-ro Bin, PrimeMover, Open Cart, Lori Simen, Etc
