    Definisi Pengurusan Sukan

    Pengurusan sebagai proses merancang,mengelola, mengarah dan mengawal aktivitimanusia dengan campuran sumber lain dalamorganisasi untuk mencapai matlamat yangditetapkan

    Pengurusan ialah satu proses menggunapakaiperalatan dan sumber manusia untuk mencapaisesuatu objektif yang ditentukan oleh organisasi(William,Charlie dan Warren, 1972)

    Definisi Pengurusan Sukan

    Kelly, Blanton dan Bertel (1990) mendefinisikanpengurusan sukan sebagai sebarang gabungankemahiran-kemahiran berkaitan denganperancangan pengelolaan, pengarahan,pengawalan, pengurusan budget, kepimpinan danpenilaian dalam konteks sesebuah organisasi ataujabatan di mana produk atau perkhidmatanberkaitan dengan sukan.

    Planning is working out in broad outline the things thatneed to be done and the methods for doing them toaccomplish the purpose set for the enterprise;

    2. ORGANIZING

    Organizing is the establishment of the formal structureof authority through which work subdivisions arearranged, defined and coordinated for the definedobjective;

    Staffing is the whole personnel function of bringing inand training the staff and maintaining favorableconditions of work;

    4. DIRECTING

    Directing is the continuous task of making decisionsand embodying them in specific and general orders andinstructions and serving as the leader of the enterprise;

    Coordinating is the all-important duty of interrelatingthe various parts of the work;

    6. REPORTING Reporting is keeping those to whom the executive is

    responsible informed as to what is going on, whichincludes keeping himself and his subordinates informedthrough records, research and inspections;

    7. BUDGETING Budgeting, with all that goes with budgeting in the form

    of fiscal planning, accounting and control
