Dear Najwa,

I am sorry for not replying your letter earlier. My family and I have just returned from

Rantau Abang in Terengganu. We were there for two days.

At Rantau Abang, we were lucky to catch a glimpse of a leatherback turtle. It came up

to the beach where our hotel was situated. It was very big about two metres long. It came

to lay eggs. The eggs were like ping pong balls but they were softer.

We took some pictures with the turtle. Here is one of the photographs taken there. The

couple standing behind me is my parents. Mike is the one with spectacles and Susan, my

younger sister, is taller than me.

I wish you were there with us. It was really fun to look at the live reptile and yet sad

to think that the species is slowly becoming extinct.

I would choose the art and craft set because it is suitable for my

cousin. He likes art and craft activity. The price is reasonable andaffordable for me. It is within my budget. The set has scissors, plasticine,

glue and coloured papers and they are very useful. It is made in Malaysia,

and I am sure it is of good quality. It offers a box of crayons for free and

my cousin can use it during his art lesson. My cousin can use it in school

or at home. I hope that my cousin will like this gift for his birthday.

Question 3

Last Saturday was Sports Day in Sekolah Kebangsaan Taman

Megah. Before the sports, all the pupils were very busy. They decorated

the school field with beautiful and colourful bunting and flags. All the

participants practised hard for their events.

The sports started with the march-past. The participants were

marching in their groups according to their houses. The house captains

held the house flags. When they marched past the grandstand, they

saluted the District Education Officer, the headmaster and other guests of

honour.

The pupils took part in the track and field events. They ran as fast

as lightning towards the finish line.

After all the events ended, the District Education Officer gave

away all the prizes to the winners. He congratulated them. They were all

very happy and went home in the evening.
