We will try to provide you better services for your request such as timely visit for preliminary inspection/verification inspection, verification of corrective actions taken by you to deficiencies pointed out to you, verification of shifting of manufacturing premises , verification of competency of new Quality Control Personnel/Incharge, etc.

Since last revision of special inspection charges in 2006, with rising prices, and increase in expenses of BIS special inspection charges have revised to Rs. 7,000/- plus taxes as applicable per man days w.e.f 07 October 2013. Special inspection charges are required to be paid for the following situations:

- All visits of applicant for considering grant of licence. - All visits carried out at licensee’s request for considering resumption of marking and

renewal of deferred licence. - All visits carried out at licensee’s request for considering inclusion and verification of

manufacturing/capability. - Any visit for factory testing of applicant/inclusion samples where laboratory has not

carried out testing. - Lot inspection when specifically informed by licence renewing authority. - Any visit paid for verification of corrective actions, verification of shifting of

manufacturing premises. Verification of competency of newly appointed quality control personnel/in charge etc.

- Any other visit paid to the factory of an applicant/licensee at their specific request such as initiation of marking or any assistance from BIS in operation of licence.

Therefore your request for above mentioned situation should be made after transferring

required amount through NEFT/electronic transfer to BIS Hqrs. Account. Details for transfer are given below:

हमारा संदभ: एमड ड -।।।/G-3.12 दनांक 24-10-2013 Subject: Displaying information pertaining to product of licensee on BIS website Sir, It has been decided tht annual product figure data for last five years for each licensee shall be displayed on BIS website based on the information provided in the renewal application and on the basis of which marking fee is paid. As information is not available with us brand wise you are requested to send us the details with break up on product figure brand wise for last five years/since grant of licence. In absence of not providing such information it shall be taken against the first brand requested by you and will be displayed accordingly. This information must reach us by 15 November 2013.
