The programme provides students with the fundamentals of aircraft maintenance technology including the avionics systems and the aspects of xed wing aircraft that encompasses the airframe and engines. Furthermore, students will be exposed to professional practice and interaction with highly skilled professionals related to the aviation industry. Graduates can work in the airlines sectors, maintenance and repair, avionics repair stations, workshops and as aircraft vendors. In addition, with the guidance offered by our qualied academic staff, upon completion of this program, students can proceed to pursue higher studies. On successful completion of this programme students should be able to: Adopt the fundamentals to achieve technical knowledge and competency required for a Technician in the eld of Aircraft Maintenance Practice. Demonstrate thinking and scientic skills in solving basic Aircraft Maintenance problems. Communicate effectively and acquire good social, teamwork and leadership skills that are appropriate to employment and future career prospect. Practice good work ethics in order to enhance their ability in the workplace. Exhibit entrepreneurship skills and understand the need of lifelong learning for successful career development. INTAKE January, May and September ENTRY REQUIREMENTS Pass in Malaysian Certicate of Education (SPM) or Malaysian Vocational Certicate of Education (SPVM) with at least: Pass in Bahasa Melayu Credit in Mathematics or Additional Mathematics Pass in one (1) science/technology/vocational subject; and Credit in two (2) other subjects OR Pass in Malaysian Certicate of Education (SPM) or Malaysian Vocational Certicate of Education (SPVM) with at least: Pass in Bahasa Melayu Pass in Mathematics or Additional Mathematics Credit in one (1) science/technology/vocational subject; and Credit in two (2) other subjects OR Pass in certicate program (Level 3 MQF) in relevant eld recognized by the Malaysian government with minimum CGPA 2.0.
