Furthermore, the stone assemblage especially tools is classified into a various type. After classification was complete, the tool were examined by microscope for use-wear photograph and description. Etnographic and experimental analogy from several book sources was use in interpretation stage. Thereby, the function of usage tool can be estimated. The classification obtained five types of tools with unifacial and low angle edge (I1 type) as the majority type, followed by unifacial with very high angle edge (I3 type), unifacial with high angle edge (I2 type), bifacial with very high angle edge (II3 type), and bifacial with low angle edge (II1 type). Based on use-wear analysis with ethnographical and experimental analogy, the I2 type is close to various activities, such as scraping / chopping wood, scraping plants, perforating fresh skin, cutting / slicing meat, and sawing bone. The I1 type is close to cutting / slicing meat, bone whittling, and scraping / whittling / chopping wood. The I3 type is close to scraping / wood plane and scraping dry skin. The II3 type is close to wood battering activities.Based on all approximation, the individuals / groups of people of Pandan Cave Site are close to hunter and gatherer activities wich directly done through wooden tools.
