("GMB" or "the Company") and IEV Energy Sdn Bhd ("IEV")

INTRODUCTION

Pursuant to paragraph 9.04(o) of the Main Market ListingRequirements of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad, GMB wishesto announce that the Company has signed a Memorandum ofUnderstanding ("MOU") on 15 October 2012 with IEV (hereinaftercalled "the Parties") for the purpose of conducting aFeasibility Study to review the prospects of cooperating andsuccessfully undertaking projects to transport and marketLiquefied Natural Gas ("LNG") to industrial consumers who arenot connected to GMB's natural gas pipeline system.

INFORMATION ON IEV

IEV is a Company incorporated in Malaysia with a principaloffice address at Dataran Hamodal, Block B, Level 2, No. 4,Jalan Bersatu 13/4, 46200 Petaling Jaya, Selangor Darul Ehsan,Malaysia. IEV is a member of IEV Holdings Limited, a publiclisted company in the Catalist Board of the Singapore exchangeon October 25th, 2011. IEV has developed and operated mobileinfrastructure to transport and distribute natural Gas inorder to maximise domestic gas consumption in South East Asiaregion since 2007.

DURATION

The Feasibility Study is scheduled to be completed withinninety (90) days from the date of MOU.

The MOU is valid for a period of six (6) months after whicheither party can, unless the Parties are then negotiating anexclusive Joint Venture Agreement, terminate the MOU withthirty (30) days written notice in advance.

EXPENSES

Each Party shall bear its own cost incurred in relationthereto.

FINANCIAL EFFECTS OF THE MOU

The MOU is not expected to have any material effects on theissued and paid up share capital, net assets and earnings ofthe Company for the financial year ending 31 December 2012.

DIRECTORS' AND MAJOR SHAREHOLDERS' INTEREST

None of the Directors nor major shareholders of GMB or personsconnected with them has any interest, direct and indirect, inthe MOU.
