IMPACT (BASED ON THE SADC PROTOCOL TARGETS)

This project takes into account a great part of theSADC Protocol on Gender and Development:Protect and encourage women and girls to reactangainst violence.Articles 20 25- 27 on the reduction of GBV.We can say that our project has actual positiveresults for its beneficiaries .CE

    SUSTAINABILITY AND REPLICATION

We hope that this practice would be continued inother organisms and entities. It is a manner to saythat our project can be replicated. Our actions concern only our accomplishments in

2010 but given the fact that the Projet AmbatovyLast more than ten years, we must foresee a long-lasting projet. The project seems to be very efficient for ourtargets; because a great decreasing of case of girlsabused by foreigners is perceived.

    LESSONS LEARNED

To have concrete results in the fight againstGBV, local authorities should be the first tobe involved.Men are still reluctant to support themovement for the fight against GBV eventhough they are convinced that genderequality is the only way to integratedevelopment.
