Impor tant :

This service pack ONLY applies to Biztrak MSB 12.0 and above. ALLenhancement, new features and fixes made in Biztrak MSB 12 Service Pack(s)had been incorporated into this version.

Make a complete up-to-date backup of your databasebefore installing the newversion. As part of the installation, older Biztrak MSB Edition database will be

upgraded. (The upgrade may take a number of hours to complete depending onyour database size and system configuration)

Shut down Biztrak Server and logout from Biztrak program before installing thenew version.

A.

Backup Bizt r ak Database

1. Exit from Biztrakprogram.2. Go to "Start""Program""Biztrak"select Database Utility" option.

3. From Biztrak Database Utilitywindow, select Backup Database" icon tolaunch Database backup wizard window.

a) Select Data Source Name radio button.b) Enter User IDand Password.c) Select Environment as "Biztrak DB".d) Backup To i.e. c:\biztrak\DB\Backup_20090622175617(date of today,

easier to identify) OR follow the defaulted filename given.

e) Select Continue to use the original transaction log radio button.f) Click OKbutton.

4. When a message prompts to ask whether to create a new directory, click Yesbutton.

5. After backup process completed, click OKbutton and Closebutton.

B.

How to i nstall (or upgr ade) Biztr ak MSB 12.0 Ser vice Pack#5

1. If the DVD-ROM is not in your computer's DVD-ROM drive, insert the DVD-ROM.

2. To start installation, select and double-click MSB12.0folder from yourcomputer's DVD-ROM drive, below window appears.

3. Double-click BiztrakMSB120SP5.exefrom the window, the Welcomewindowappears.

4. Click on Continuebutton.a) Unpacking Biztrak MSB 12.0 Service Pack#5 window appears.

b) Setupwindow appears.

c) Biztrak Setupwindow appears.

5. Click Nextto continue installation. The Software License Agreementwindowappears, as shown. Click Yesto continue installation. (Ensure the current database

is being backup).

6. Another message box appears to re-confirm, as shown. Click Yesif the currentdatabase has been backup.

- OR -Click Noif the current database has not been backup where at the same time,

setup will exit installation.

7. Click Yesto continue installation.

8. The Biztrak Setup Progresswindow will appear.

9. Once setup is complete, the Setup Completewindow appears.

10.Click Finish. You have successfully installed the above service pack.

C.

How to r egister Bizt r ak MSB Edit ion

1. Go to "Start""Program""Biztrak"select Biztrak Registration" option.

Reminder:

If you have the multi-user copy, you need to register eachBiztrakapplication that

you've installed on the client computers

2. The Biztrak Registrationwindow appears. Click the Browsebutton.3. The Select License Filewindow appears.4. Select biztrak.licfile, then click Open.5. The Biztrak Registrationwindow displays the license keyinformation. Click

OKbutton.

6. A message appears to inform you that registration has been successful. Click OKbutton.

Upgr ade Biztr ak Database

1. Go to "Start""Program""Biztrak"select Database Utility" option.

2. From Biztrak Database Utilitywindow, select Upgrade Biztrak" icon tolaunch Upgrade Biztrak database wizard window.

a) Select Data Source Name radio button.b) Enter User IDand Password.

c) Select Environment as "Biztrak DB".d) Click OKbutton.

3. Click OKbutton when system prompts the Database Upgrademessage toupgrade your Biztrak Database Version to 12.0025.

4. After upgrade completed, click OKbutton and click Closebutton
