Free medical camps are held once in a month in about 25 localities of Hyderabad in which along with free diagnosis, free medicines are also provided and MBBS doctors are engaged in this service. On an average 100 patients per day and 2500 per month are benefited.

Clean and cool water is served to the patients and the caretakers continuously for the three months of summer at the Osmania and the Niloufer hospitals. Four to five thousand people quench their thirst daily at these two locations.

Such families where two or more disabled persons from the same household live a life in acute poverty are sponsored and a sum of Rs 1500 to Rs 2000 is granted per month. More than 20 such families are being sponsored.

There is an arrangement to distribute Qurbani meat to poor rural Muslims on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha. More than seven hundred large animals are sacrificed in more than five hundred villages and the meat is distributed to the deserving.

On the second and third day of Eid-ul-Azha, ten large vehicles and more than twenty volunteers are appointed in about ten to twelve localities of Hyderabad to clean the Qurbani animal waste so that no inconvenience is caused to others due to putrefaction of the waste material.

FUNCTIONING AND MESSAGE OF SAFA BAITUL MAAL

1) Discharge the obligation of philanthropy based on the principle of humanity irrespective of religion and

to spread the message of humanity, tolerance, equality, selflessness, compassion, empathy, love, peace

and national unity in India so that this country is saved from disintegration and each citizen could lead

a peaceful life.

2) Make practical efforts to deliver the Zakat of the Muslims to the deserving persons so that the poverty

of the Muslims reduces and the economic conditions of weaker section of Muslims stabilize.

3) Create Islamic brotherhood, unity and cordial mutual relations among the Muslims and create awareness

to uphold mutual rights.

4) The relationship and association as mentor-follower which was present in the Madani Society between

the Prophet (SAW) and the elite and the commoners and the weaker sections; strive to recreate the

same between the scholars and the public and the weaker sections in India; generate the spirit of

philanthropy in the Ulema and the Imams.

5) To end the sectarian hostility and to urge to adopt the moderate path and to create consensus based

on the concept of “Brotherhood of Believers”.

6) Generating the sense of discharging the rights of humans along with the rights of Allah.

7) Establishment of various departments for the treatment of the poor sick, sponsoring the orphans,

supporting the widows, supporting the disabled, assisting the distressed persons, saving the persons

burdened with usurious debts, striving to deliver the government welfare schemes to the deserving

persons, construction of mosques, installation of borewells, emergency assistance during natural

and man-made disasters, burial of the poor and unclaimed bodies, employment generation for the

unemployed persons.

Safa Baitul Maal Educational Welfare and Charitable Trust India is a Government of

India registered relief, welfare and educational institution which has been established

by the distinguished scholars; it has been performing the obligation of philanthropy

on humanitarian grounds in eleven states of India; it was established in the year

2006; its central office is located in Wahed Nagar, Old Malakpet in Hyderabad. The

guiding spirit and the central president of the institution is Moulana Gayas Ahmed

Rashadi Sahab who had acquired Alimiyat from Dar-ul-Uloom Sabeel-ul-Rashad,

Bangalore in the year 1984; he had been in the profession of writing and compilation

for twenty years and more than a hundred books of him have come to the fore that
