ELS Language Centres’ TESOL Certificate course is specially designed for individuals who are interested in becoming English Language teachers but have little or no experience in teaching English as a Second Language (ESL).

Upon completion of the course, the participants will be equipped with up to date pedagogical knowledge and skills to teach in colleges, schools and language centres both in and outside of Malaysia.

It is an intensive course for those who want certification in a short time. Participants will be guided by experienced trainers. The course ensures that each participant will have acquired the knowledge and skills required of an effective English Language teacher.

The TESOL Certificate Course offers you ample opportunities for employment in and outside of Malaysia. With the widespread demand for English language instruction globally the TESOL Certificate Course is an ideal pathway towards a meaningful teaching career.

Must have successfully completed secondary education (SPM, STPM,GCE O Level or equivalent). Participants with a diploma or degree are preferred.Must pass the English Language Proficiency test upon registration.Must be competent in both spoken and written English.

The TESOL Certificate Course programme is a combination of online learning, face-to-face classroom interaction (33 hours) and authentic practicum (9 hours). Training on teaching methodology is provided in six face-to-face sessions. You will also observe and teach real classes. The whole programme takes approximately two months to complete.
