    Kaj ian in i bert ujuan untuk mengena l pasti kesan penggun aan ked h permainan ter hadappencapaian dan pen ga laman pelajar bagi mata pelajaran Ekonomi Asa s Tingkatan Empat.Reka bentuk kajian me ngg unk n eksperimen yang mana dua kaedah pen gajaran yangberbeza dilaksanak an da lam pem elajaran dan pengajaran iaitu kaedah konvensiona lbagi kum pu lan kawalan dan kaeda h permainan bagi kumpulan rawatan. Data pcncap aianpelaj r d ikumpulkan denga n mengg unakan ujian pra da n uj ian pos yang se tara manakaladata perubahan pengalam an pem elaj ran pelajar dikumpulkan denga n menggunakanboran g soa l se lid ik. Se ramai 69 pelajar T ingkatan 4 telah dipilih sebagai sa mpe l danmereka te lah dipecah kan kcpd dua kumpulan iaitu 35 orang dalam kumpu lan k walandan 34 orang dalam kum pu lan rawatan.     Game Techniques and Its Effects on the Learning Experiences andc hievement in Basic Economics

    This study is aimed to determine the e ffectiveness o f using games studentsachievements and experiences toward the subject E konorni Asas (ElementaryEconomics ) for Form 4. The resea rch methodology is based on an experiment wherebytwo different teachin g approaches arc utili zed, that is a conventional approach for thecontrol group and a games approach for the treatment group. The data is in the form ofstudents s cores on their performances on the pre-test and post-test while the data onstudents exper iences is co llected using a questionnaire. 69 Form 4 students were selectedas samples and they were divided into two groups of 35 students in the contro l group and34 students in the treatment group. The d ifferences of students scores and learningexperiences weree then analyzed using the t-test. Thc findings revealed that gamestechnique has a pos itive e ffec t on students scores However, the findin gs for theirlearning experiences is not consistent as the differences in min for experiences throughutili zat ion and d ifficulty Icvel is insignific ant between thc treatment and control group.There is a significant di fference for both groups in terms of cognitive needs andenjoyment Icvcls . The game technique does have a positive effect on students scores andthus is a suitab le alternative to the present techniques but as far as learn ing experiencesare concerned, further comprehensive studies should be conducted to gauge itsconsistency .
