The program was participated by 56 teachers from the Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan

Katholik Melaka.

The program started with a glance briefing about the University Postgraduate Course

offered in UTeM by Dr Hyreil Anuar Kasdirin, Deputy Dean of Centre for Graduate

Studies.

Next session was an introduction of educator 4.0 which was conducted by Assoc. Prof.

Dr Tay Choo Chuan.

The last session of the program was the implementation of technology for educator 4.0

which was conducted by Ts. Dr Sek Yong Wee.

The program was participated by 35 offshore students from Indonesia.

The program was also attended by the Assistant Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr Mohd

Ridzuan Nordin, Dean of faculties and student’s supervisors.

The program started with a welcoming speech by Prof. Dr Mohd Ridzuan Nordin.

The knowledge sharing and writing research proposal was conducted by Prof. Dr

Rabiah Ahmad.

Program : Industrial Visit to 19th International Food & Beverages Trade Fair

On 5th April, the KePs and PPS has organized the 3MT Competition-University level,

to select the winner that will be representing UTeM in the national level 3MT

Competition on 29 June 2018.

Two winners of doctoral student from the engineering and ICT category was been

chosen.

These winners will be representing UTeM, in the national level 3MT Competition

which will be held in the Universiti Teknologi Petronas (UTP).

Program : Workshop on Statistical Package for the Social Science (SPSS)

The core objective of the workshop was to give exposure towards SPSS software and

learn on, how to analysis data utilizing SPSS.

The first day of the workshop was an introduction for SPSS and the second day was

on, how to analysis data by utilizing SPSS.

This workshop was conducted by Dr Sammer Ali Hussein Al-Shami from IPTK.

KePs took this opportunity to visit this showcase that was held in the Malaysia

International Trade & Exhibition Centre, Kuala Lumpur.

This program was participated by 11 postgraduate students of UTeM and

accompanied by Dr Hyreil Kasdirin, Deputy Dean of Centre for Graduate Studies.

Program : Writing High Impact Journal

This program was focused towards knowledge, skill and technique sharing for our

postgraduate students.

The organizer has invited an experience speaker from Universiti Malaya, Prof. Datin

Sri Dr Suhaiza Hanim Mohamad Zailani who is an experienced scholar on publishing

and reviewing article in high impact publications.

The speaker shared her knowledge on how to utilize systematic approaches technique

to write an article.

This program was participated by 31 postgraduate students of UTeM.

This program also received a good positive feedback from participants.

research proposal for the postgraduate students.

To be mentioned, that this program was the first activity program organized by KePs

2017/2018.

The organizer has invited an experience speaker from Universiti Malaya, Prof. Datin

Sri Dr Suhaiza Hanim Mohamad Zailani who is an experienced supervisor that

supervised many postgraduate students.

This program was participated by 89 postgraduate students of UTeM.

This program also received a good positive feedback from participants.

The 1st Arabic Workshop on Writing & Publishing High Impact Research organized in

UTeM towards systematically position out the manuscript.

The workshop inscription was on, how to discover suitable co-authors, choose the

correct journal for manuscript acceptance, relate to editors, acknowledge to

reviewers, avoid strife of amuse and various further concerns.

The speaker was Dr. Aws Alaa Zaidan and Dr. Bilal Bahaa Zaidan from Universiti

Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI).

The speakers further detailed out on the quantitative assess hinge on citation

metrics that occur regularly utilized by the academia as an index of the

domination for students and researchers.

This workshop was attended by two hundred eleven (211) participants who included,

International students from various Universities in Malaysia and Internationally.
