MOGSEC 2016;Strengthening Malaysia’s

Position as Asia’s Oil & Gas HubThe 3rd Malaysia Oil & Gas Services Exhibition & Conference (MOGSEC 2016) held from 28-30 September 2016 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC), received tremendous support from the local Oil & Gas industry and turned out to be a great success despite challenging times in the Oil & Gas industry. The event was officiated by YBhg Datuk Wan Zulkiflee Wan Ariffin, President and Group Chief Executive Officer of PETRONAS.

This niche exhibition saw the participation of 303 exhibiting companies, welcomed 5,992 professional and trade visitors and recorded a total of 232 scheduled meetings between attendees and exhibitors.

MOGSEC 2016 is a unique event as it is the ONLY platform showcasing Malaysia’s Oil & Gas service providers. The event saw a huge participation from organisations and individuals involved within the whole Oil & Gas value chain, and some of the region’s biggest industry players such as PETRONAS, SapuraKencana Petroleum, Muhibbah Engineering and Technip, to name a few.

With full support from PETRONAS, as well as stakeholders; MATRADE, MPRC and MIDA, MOGSEC 2016 clearly achieved its objective to place Malaysia as the regional hub for Oil & Gas Innovation, in line with the Government’s Economic Transformation Programme (ETP).

MOGSEC 2016 was officiated and visited by Datuk Wan Zulkiflee Wan Ariffin, President and Group Chief Executive Officer of PETRONAS.
