    1.0 INTRODUCTION

RF refers to radio frequency, the mode of communication forwireless technologies of all kinds, including cordless phones, radar, ham radio, GPS, radio and television broadcasts.

RF technology is widely used in our life without we noticed it.From baby monitors to cell phones, Bluetooth to remotecontrol toys,RF waves are all around us. RF waves areelectromagnetic waves which propagate at the speed of light, or

    186,000 miles per second (300,000 km/s).

    1.2 OBJECTIVES

    To design acircuit that can

perform as asmoke alarmsystem that actwirelessly byusingmicrocontroller

To design thesmoke sensorthat can be setby threedifferentthreshold

    To create a C

program tocontrol theoperation ofwireless smokedetector system

    1.3 PRO LEM T TEMENT

    1

The limitation of smoke detector systemare more spacing and wire required.

    2

Many building codes require that new

construction what is referred to as"interconnected smoke detector systems"in place.

    3

Most of smoke detector are not locallyproduct and import from oversea

4 The price offers in the market too expensive.

    1.4 SCOPE OF PROJECT

    Analysis

Do some of the analysis aboutdistance and types of smoke that canbe detected.

    Hardware

    Interface the devices on microcontroller

SoftwareBuild a C programming code for wireless smoke

    system.

    5.0 LIMIT TION

    Gas sensor

Sensitivity of gas sensor cannot be predictable and controlled.

Only sensitive at rs 0.6 to 0.3.

    RF module

Only can send the data in short range of distance.

The signal being sent sometimes is not stable and uncontrolled.

Easily broken without knowing the right method to handle andused it

    6.0 CONCLU ION

y The objective almost complete and fulfill the desiredrequirement.

y Wireless smoke detector is an intelligent version of smokedetector can be market extensively.

y The number of accident due to leaking of contaminant gascan be reduced by giving an awareness of using wirelesssmoke detector.

y The functionality of wireless smoke device can be upgrade to

attract people attention and used this product.y The weight and functionality of wireless smoke system

should be light and user friendly.
