T entz eris is currently a Pr ofessor with the School of ECE, Georgia Tech. He is the Head of the Electr omagnecs Technical Interest Gr oup of the School of ECE, Georgia Tech. He has served as the Georgia Electr onic Design Center Associate Director for RFID/Sensors research fr om 2006-2010 and as the GT-Packaging Resear ch Center (NSF-ERC) Associate Director for RF resear ch and the leader of the RF /Wireless Packaging Alliance fr om 2003-2006. Also, Dr. T entz eris is the Head of the A. T.H.E.N.A. Resear ch Gr oup (20 students and resear cher s) and has established academic pr ogr ams in Highly Integrated/Mullayer Packaging for RF and Wireless Applicaons using cer amic and organic exible materials, paper -based RFID’s and sensor s, inkjet -printed electr onics, nanostructures for RF , wireless sensor s, power scavenging and wireless power tr ansf er , Micr owave MEMs, SOP-integrated (UWB, mutliband, conformal) antennas and Adapve Numerical Electr omagnecs (FDTD, MulResoluon Algorithms). Assoc. Prof. Dr. Widad Ismail Dr . Widad Ismail is an Associate Pr ofessor and a pr oject coordinator for Auto-ID Laboratory (AIDL), Univer si Sains Malaysia (USM). She received a BEng(H) First Class Honors in Electr onics and Communicaons Engineering fr om Univer sity of Huddersfield, United Kingdom (1999) ,where she is the rst female engineer gr aduated with rst class honors at the university, and by the age of 27; she received her PhD in 2004 (Acve Integrated Antenna (AIA) with Image Rejecon), in Electr onics and Communicaon Engineering fr om Univer sity of Birmingham, United Kingdom. She served Univer sity of Birmingham, United Kingdom fr om the year 2000 unl 2003 as Postgr aduate Teaching Assistant and in the year 2004 she started work at Univer si Sains Malaysia as a lecturer unl today . Her main areas of research are RFID (Radio Frequency Idenficaon), wireless s ystem design, acve integrated antennas (AIA) and RF and micr owave s ystems engineering. Her resear ch and scienfic outputs were tr anslated into a number of awards, publicaons and patents. To date she is a Principal Invesgator of 16 resear ch grants with the value of more than USD 1.06 million. These resear ch works have pr oduced 12 filed patents, 10 internaonal awards, 4 commer cialized main RFID resear ch pr oducts & more than 80 publicaons including internaonal journal paper s, conf erence/seminars and other publicaons. She is also a member of IEEE and Wireless W orld Resear ch Forum (WWRF). Professor Manos M. TentzerisProfessor Manos M. Tentzeris is currently a Professor with the School of ECE, Georgia Tech. He is the Head of the Electromagnetics Technical Interest Group of the School of ECE, Georgia Tech. He has served as the Georgia Electronic Design Center Associate Director for RFID/Sensors research from 2006-2010 and as the GT-Packaging Research Center (NSF-ERC) Associate Director for RF research and the leader of the RF/Wireless Packaging Alliance from 2003-2006.
