ly implemented for the resi-dents of USJ 11/3 in Sybang Jaya.

According to USJ 11/3 pro terncommitte.e chainnan Ng Peng Hin,the security scheme was launchedlast Saturday. .

In addition to the security guards,boom gates, guardhouses and drumgates were put up at entry and exitroads of the neighbourhood.

Ng said the pro tern committeehad obtained the consent of more

than 70% of the residents staying inhouses along the different roads of11/3 to implement the gated andguarded concept.

"Right now, we have over 70% ofhouseholds consenting to the scheme.We expect more to endorse it," Ngsaid during the launching ceremonyat one of the guardhouses.

"The Subang Jaya MunicipalCouncil (MPSJ) has also informed usthat it has no objection when weapplied for permission to implementthe scheme," he said.

Ng had said earlier that some exitshad -to be closed to control expensesof hiring patrolling guards.

"I'm aware of the objectionsbecause people like free-flow con-venience.

"I hope everyone can be patientand understand the importance ofsecurity," he said.
