Group Practice (15 minutes : 0840 - 0855)

1. Students sit in group of 6.2. Teacher teach the students a song that use

Are You Sleeping? but with different lyrics.

Teachers show the lyrics using power point.The song is going to be used as the song inthe group activities. (Appendix B)

3. Student sings the song again. All the bold rowverse will be sung together and theunderlined area will be filled up by the

teacher.

3. Teacher gives instructions about the musicballoons.

i. When the song start, all the group members needs topass the balloon among them. They cannot throw

the balloon away to their friends if he or she is the lastperson to hold the balloon.

ii. Once the song finish, the group member that holdsthe balloon needs to answer the questions(Appendix C) shown through the LCD.

iii. Other group members can help to check thesolutions and answers.

iv. After answers the questions, raise up the answers.v. Teacher checks and shows the correct answers.vi. Group that answers correctly will be given marks and

group that gets the highest mark will win the game.

4. Teacher asks the group leader to take thematerials. Each group will get mini whiteboard, white board marker, tissue and

worksheets (Appendix D and Appendix E)given. In the worksheet 1, the students needto calculate and colour the answer based on

the given colour stated, and in worksheet 2,the students need to colour the samenumber given.

2. Teacher gives time to pupils to finish theexercise.

3. Teacher guides and monitoring students

4. If still have time, teacher and student willcheck answer together but if there are notime left, teacher will asks students to pass upthe worksheet or complete it as homework.
