Osteosarcoma in an elderly patient: case reportA woman in her 70s [age not clearly stated], with a history of

osteoporosis with vertebral fractures, started receivingteriparatide [Forteo] 20 mcg/day. Sometime aftercommencement of her second year of treatment [time toreaction onset not clearly stated], it was established that shehad metastatic cancer. Subsequently she died; no autopsy wasconducted and the primary cancer site was not identified.Initially, her clinical impression was metastatic lung cancer;however, following biopsy by pathology experts, it wasconcluded that the lesion was an osteosarcoma.Harper KD, et al.
