1. Tugasan ini mengandungi SATU (1) soalan sahaja yang disediakan dalam bahasa modul bercetak kursus ini. / This assignment contains only ONE (1) question that is set in the language of the printed module for the course.

2. Jawab dalam Bahasa Melayu atau Bahasa Inggeris. / Answer in Malay or English.

3. Muat turunkan templat tugasan versi bahasa yang berkenaan daripada MyVLE untuk penyediaan dan penyerahan tugasan anda. ASSIGNMENT QUESTION

(a) Search for TWO articles from various sources involving methods or approaches

in the teaching of primary mathematics. Photocopy/ print the articles. Summarise

the important points that you can obtain from the articles.

(b) Based on the ideas from the articles, prepare a lesson plan in primary mathematics

that incorporates the methods or approaches selected.

(c) Carry out the lesson plan at your school. Submit evidence in the form of

PowerPoint slides to confirm that teaching was implemented.

(d) Identify the strengths and weaknesses of the teaching methods or approaches used

in your lesson. Obtain feedback from TWO experienced mathematics teachers for

suggestions to further improve the lesson.

(e) Summarise how you can apply the methods or approaches selected in the teaching

and learning of mathematics in primary schools.

(a) Cari DUA artikel dari pelbagai sumber tentang kaedah atau pendekatan dalam

pengajaran matematik rendah. Fotostat/ cetak artikel tersebut. Rumuskan

perkara-perkara penting yang anda boleh perolehi daripada artikel tersebut.

(b) Berdasarkan idea yang anda boleh perolehi daripada artikel tersebut, sediakan

satu rancangan pengajaran (RP) matematik rendah yang mengaplikasikan kaedah

atau pendekatan yang dipilih.

(c) Laksanakan rancangan pengajaran ini di sekolah anda. Serahkan bahan-bahan

bukti dalam bentuk slaid PowerPoint untuk mengesahkan pengajaran telah

dilaksanakan.

(d) Kenal pasti kekuatan dan kelemahan kaedah atau pendekatan pengajaran yang

anda gunakan. Dapatkan maklum balas daripada DUA orang guru matematik

yang berpengalaman untuk cadangan menambahbaikkan pengajaran tersebut.

(e) Rumuskan bagaimana anda boleh mengaplikasikan kaedah atau pendekatan

terpilih dalam pengajaran dan pembelajaran matematik di sekolah rendah.
