ASSIGNMENT QUESTION

Topic 8 of the Course Module discusses conflict solving skills in educational organisations.

Among its sub-topics are conflicts in group communication, the effects and the handling of

conflicts.

This assignment is focused on conflict resolution in schools. You are required to interview at

least TWO teachers to gather data pertaining to at least TWO major incidences of conflicts

involving students or school staff or members of the community that had occurred in the school

during the last two years.

In your report you need to describe in sufficient details the TWO conflict situations and the

manner in which resolutions to the conflicts were made. In addition, you are also required to

comment on the effects of the two conflicts on the school and the approaches made in handling

the conflicts.

Refer to the guidelines rubric below on the expected assignment content and also the basis for

which marks are awarded for the assignment. Students are reminded to not to devulge the

identity of sites, the object of the study and the respondents involved.

Topik 8 Modul Kursus membincangkan kemahiran penyelesaian konflik dalam organisasi

pendidikan. Di antara sub-topiknya ialah konflik dalam komunikasi kumpulan, kesan dan

pengendalian konflik.

Tugasan ini memberi tumpuan kepada penyelesaian konflik di sekolah. Anda perlu menemuduga

sekurang-kurangnya DUA orang guru untuk mendapat maklumat tentang DUA insiden konflik

yang melibatkan pelajar atau staf sekolah atau ahli masyarakat yang berlaku di sekolah dalam

tempoh dua tahun yang lalu.

Dalam laporan tugasan, anda perlu menghuraikan secara terperinci KEDUA-DUA situasi

konflik tersebut dan penyelesaiannya. Selanjutnya anda perlu membuat komen terhadap kesan
