PRODUCT FEATURES Derris elliptica (Tuba) is one of the Leguminosae family which is rich in
major active ingredient known as rotenone.
This invention describes the environmental friendly extraction, purification and formulation process of rotenone into a non-toxic bio-pesticide product.
The major aim of this invention is to develop a natural bio-pesticide based product and provide an alternative substitute for the hazardous chemical pesticide.
This bio-pesticide provides the most effective, economic and long term control towards targeted pests (e.g.: Spodoptera litura and Plutella xylostella) for agricultural and crop protection.
The final product is suitable in forms of water-based and aerosol types for agriculture sector and household applications respectively.
