    KERJA KURSUS BERASASKAN PROJEK(PROJECT-BASED COURSEWORK)

    How we teach our students science is important. Effective teachers do develop arepertoire of methods they can draw on for maximum effect and to fit their preferredteaching and student-learning styles. To develop their repertoire, teachers areencouraged to explore several teaching methods that promote student cooperation,discovery and concept constructions.

    B. MASTERY OF KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS (50%)

    In a group of 4 members;(a) Select one concept in the Primary School curriculum to investigate and plan a discrepantevent to teach the concept. Write a report of your plan.(b) Make a shoebox kit to organize the materials. Place all materials and an activity card inthe box with an index containing a list of materials taped to the outside of the box. Write areport of how you prepare the shoebox and its contents.

    (c) *Write a reflective journal of about 200 words of your experience. Your reflection shouldinclude(i) strengths and weaknesses of your plan and shoebox kit(ii) the problems you faced(iii) suggestions on ways to overcome them
