Kurikulum StandardSekolah Menengah (KSSM)

We always look forward when it comes to the curriculum of our education. As our country’s educational curriculum progresses for the better, so does our school’s vision for greater learning. The Kurikulum Standard Sekolah Menengah (KSSM) under our school

philosophy will cover more than just the usual curriculum – holistic education.

KSSM is the current curriculum with achievable sets of standards. It comprises of knowledge, skills and values tailored for secondary schools’ learners. This will enhance their learning to go beyond acquiring communication skills, self development by embracing the use of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics towards understanding humanitarian issues by focusing on the child’s physical, emotional,

spiritual and aesthetical development.

Our KSSM helps students to be college or university-ready as well as giving them the competitive edge to be brilliant students both in their academic and curricular activities.

From Form 1 to Form 5, every stage of education is planned to get them all geared up for greater challenges beyond the classroom.

RAFFLESIA in Action gets the students up and running with zest and vigour in their activities.

As an all-integrated society, it provides all Rafflesians with a vast array of activities to stimulate, engage and encourage their participation in the arts and creative thinking. Through these self-discovery activities, they can further

enhance their interpersonal development and social behavior.

From building leadership, fostering teamwork to honing presentation and other skills, these personal qualities building will steer and

inspire all Rafflesians to develop altruistic interests to serve and benefit others. They learn to be sociable, well-liked,

respectful, charitable and most importantly to have the qualities of a global leader.

Rafflesia firmly believes that students must be provided with this multilingual foundation from youth. With a future-focused understanding of the importance of English and Mandarin as global languages, and with an appreciation of the practical and cultural value of Bahasa Malaysia, we place due emphasis upon these languages within our curriculum. The deposit is to be topped up as the student progresses according to the year level. It is non-transferablebut refundable, provided that one FULL semester’s written notice of withdrawal in advance is submitted to the school.

Important Notes:

1. Registration Fee: Payable upon submission of Application Form. This fee is a one-off payment, not refundablenor transferable.

3. All fees must be paid before the commencement of the academic year. These fees are not refundable nor transferable and they cannot be prorated.

4. Tuition Fees are payable by semester. There are two (2) semesters in an academic year. 5. Tuition fee are invoiced every semester. These fees are payable before the beginning of the semester. 6. Meal plan, uniform, books (text books, e-books, workbooks & exercise books), educational digital apps,

resources fee, co-curricular activities, overseas/outstation trip, educational trip and insurance will be billed separately.All external exam fees are borne by students.All fees are subjected to review and the management reserves the right to revise the terms and conditions.
