Background and activities Rumak Anak Yatim Mak Teh
Rumah Anak Yatim Mak Teh is a non- profitable organization specially established to look into the needs of approximately 30 of female childrens that without a safe and caring home. Most of children are from dysfunctional, broker and poverty stricken homes. The children age from 12 untill 18.
The organization facilitates the children a life with proper facilities enriched with human values and with a mission to ensure will be able to live an independent life once they are adults. Rumah Anak Yatim Mak Teh provides good nutrition, health, and medical care in a clean hygienic envirionment in which the children can live and grow

Objectives and daily activities Exchange Participant
In addition of the education the children receive at their regular school, Rumah Anak Yatim Mak Teh wants to provide their children with additional education and care. Depending on the period, 2 EPs will provide this additional education to 30 children between 12 and 18. EPs can have other activities besides teaching. The classes will be given in the late afternoon after the regular schooling. The morning is free and the early afternoon will be used to prepare the classes.
Furthermore, the EPs are expected to organize activities which stimulate cultural understanding, social skills, and motor skills. Outside of working, the EPs will spend their time with the children at the NGO.

Timeline of the project
• The project is available from June 2016 until March 2017
• The project is last for 6 weeks • EPs will only need to work during every
weekday afternoon, but will spend time with the kids 24/7
• Saturday and Sunday is non-working days
Accommodation
• At the NGO together with the kids (No. 1, Jalan Dato Wan Ahmad, 01000 Kangar, Perlis, 01000)
• EPs will be staying at the NGOs, together with the children of that NGOs.
• Living together with international EPs (2 EPs depending in one time.
