ABSTRAK

Dengan menggunakan kerangka kerja TAM (Technology Acceptance Model), studi ini

memiliki tujuan untuk menginvestigasi faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi usage intention dari

aplikasi e-wallet khususnya LinkAja untuk melakukan pembayaran di era digital seperti

sekarang. Dengan mengusut pembayaran digital yang menggunakan e-wallet sebagai sarana

untuk bertransaksi, studi ini diharapkan dapat berkontribusi pada perkembangan aplikasi

LinkAja sebagai salah satu perusahaan e-wallet terbesar di Indonesia. Hal ini dikarenakan

LinkAja ternyata belum menjadi e-wallet pilihan utama bagi masyarakat, selain itu LinkAja

juga terus mengalami penurunan pada peringkat jumlah pengguna aktif bulanan serta jumlah

unduhan dibandingkan dengan kompetitor e-wallet lainnya seperti OVO, Gojek dengan Gopay

nya, dan juga DANA. Sebagai perusahaan teknologi yang tergolong besar, LinkAja seharusnya

bisa meluncurkan inovasi teknologi yang dapat meningkatkan kualitas dari fitur-fitur lama

maupun fitur-fitur baru didalam aplikasi, baik itu dengan menambahkan inovasi untuk

membuat fitur tersebut menjadi lebih bermanfaat, mudah digunakan, ataupun user friendly,

karena masih terdapat beberapa pengguna LinkAja yang mengalami kendala atau merasa

kurang puas saat menggunakan aplikasi LinkAja seperti error saat digunakan untuk

bertransaksi, kesulitan dalam melakukan upgrade account, dan interface kurang user friendly,

seperti yang dikatakan oleh para pengguna LinkAja pada review di google play store. Maka

dari itu, peneliti bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah technological innovativeness memiliki

pengaruh terhadap perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, dan perceived playfulness serta

implikasinya terhadap usage intention.

Penelitian yang dilakukan ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif, dimana untuk

pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara penyebaran kuisioner secara online dengan jumlah

keseluruhan sampel adalah 100 responden. Pengolahan data pada penelitian ini dilakukan

dengan menggunakan teknik Structural Equation Model (SEM) melalui software LISREL 8.8.

Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa H4 (perceived usefulness tidak berpengaruh positif

terhadap usage intention), hal tersebut dapat disebabkan karena adanya banyak pilihan e-wallet

lain yang menawarkan manfaat sebanding/lebih besar dibandingkan dengan LinkAja, baik dari

promo ataupun jumlah layanan yang tersedia.

ABSTRACT

By using the TAM (Technology Acceptance Model) framework, this study aims to

investigate the factors that influence the intention to use e-wallet applications, especially

LinkAja, to make payments in today's digital era. By investigating digital payments using e-

wallets as a means of transactions, this study is expected to contribute to the development of

the LinkAja application as one of the largest e-wallet companies in Indonesia. This is because

LinkAja has not yet become the e-wallet of choice for the public, besides that LinkAja also

continues to experience a decline in the ranking of the number of monthly active users and the

number of downloads compared to other e-wallet competitors such as OVO, Gojek with its

Gopay, and also DANA. As a relatively large technology company, LinkAja will launch

technological innovations that can improve the quality of old and new features in the

application, either by adding innovations to make these features more useful, easy to use, or

user friendly. There are some LinkAja users because they experience problems or feel

unsatisfied when using the LinkAja application such as errors when used for transactions,

difficulties in upgrading accounts, and a less user-friendly interface, as said by LinkAja users

in reviews on the Google Play Store. Therefore, the researcher aims to see whether

technological innovation has an influence on perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and

perceived pleasure and its implications for intended use. This research was conducted using quantitative method, where data collection was

carried out by distributing online questionnaires with a total sample of 100 respondents. Data

processing in this study was carried out using the Structural Equation Model (SEM) technique

through LISREL 8.8 software. The results of this study indicate that H4 (perceived usefulness

does not have a positive effect on usage intention), this can be due to the many other e-wallet

options that offer comparable/greater benefits compared to LinkAja, either from the promo or

the number of services available.

program studi manajemen fakultas bisnis Universitas Multimedia Nusantara.
