Trichomegaly: case reportA 62-year-old woman with squamous cell cancer
received a cetuximab 400 mg/m2 loading dose 1 weekbefore initiation of radiotherapy with concomitant weeklycetuximab 250 mg/m2. Changes in her eyelashes becamenoticeable within several weeks of starting cetuximabtherapy. She presented with progressive eyelash growth,and associated visual discomfort and inconvenience whenblinking, 4 weeks later. Brittle, aberrant and irregularbilateral eyelash growth was evident on examination of heradnexa. Her symptoms completely resolved 2 months aftercetuximab discontinuation.
